Market applications of SETAL® 270 EHV WS-70 include architectural paints (finishes on wood and metal), for interior and exterior use, do-it-yourself paints, semi-gloss finishes, alkyd resin varnishes, wall paints. Offers good hardness, scratch-, adhesion- and impact resistance. SETAL® 118 XX-60 is suitable for low temperature stoving finishes and primers for metal (80°C upto 120°C). Used in clear and pigmented nitrocellulose and acid cure coatings for wood and metal. The standard shelf life is 545 days from the date of manufacturing.

SETAL® 50-609/50 by allnex is a rosin-modified, phenolated short oil alkyd resin based on mixed drying oils. Exhibits rapid dry, good gloss and a high breakdown viscosity. It has limited compatibility with aliphatic solvents and other alkyd resins. SETAL® 50-609/50 may be used to formulate anti-corrosive primers, primer-surfacers and fast-drying high-durability gloss topcoats. Primers based on this resin may be suitable for use under higher performance topcoats, such as 2-pack polyurethane. It has a shelf life of 12 months at 5-35°C.
