Andifil AS 150 by AB Specialty Silicones is a medium surface fumed silica-based rheological control agent for coatings. It imparts a significant increase in viscosity in liquid systems, free flow of powders and reinforcement of silicone and organic rubbers. It possesses high purity, aggregated structure, and submicron particle size. It has low bulk density and hydrophilic surface. Andifil AS 150 is widely used to provide thixotropic (shear-thinning) and anti-settling behavior in liquid systems. It is most efficient in non-polar to medium polarity systems. It offers best balance of thickening efficiency and dispersibility. The shelf life is 12 months.
