VINNAPAS® EF 8120 by Wacker is an aqueous vinyl-acetate ethylene copolymer dispersion. It is a performance alternative to vinyl acrylic copolymers for use in low odor, low VOC (<50 g/l), flat to mid sheen interior and exterior architectural coatings. It provides strong adhesion, high hydrophobicity and excellent scrub- & stain resistance, touch-up property, mechanical- & storage stability, and blending compatibility.
- It is produced without the use of APEO surfactants, formaldehyde donors and PFAS.
- It shows an excellent thickener response with a number of different rheology modifier types, including hydrophobically modified cellulosics (HMHEC), hydrophobic ethoxylated urethanes (HEUR), and hydrophobic alkali-swellable emulsions (HASE).
- It gives a good balance of film formation and dirt pick-up- & crack resistance property over dimensionally unstable substrates.
- VINNAPAS® EF 8120 has a shelf life of 9 months.
