PRIMIS® SAF 9600 by Wacker is a specialty, fine particle sized styrene acrylate-based dispersion. It is free of polyethylene (PE) & fluorocarbons and provides repulpable and recyclable coatings. Coated paper and paperboard is heat-sealable, water-repellent with anti-blocking properties and when properly formulated, provides good oil and grease resistance.
- It imparts a glossy appearance to the dispersion film and contains surface active emulsifiers.
- This water-based dispersion is readily compatible with various systems and can be formulated with waxes and other additives, as needed.
- It is used in paper and paperboard barrier coating applications.
- PRIMIS® SAF 9600 is FDA, REACH compliant and is listed in ENCS, AIIC, IECSC, Canada DSL, PICCS, TSCA, TCSI, EEA inventories.
- It has a shelf life of 6 months.
