Pyrogenic fumed silica. Acts as a thickening and thixotropic rheology control agent. Effective as a flow aid additive. It is a white, submicron-sized, 100% recycled, synthetic, hydrophobic, fully X-ray amorphous silica powder of high purity, produced by flame hydrolysis. The primary particles, sized between 60 and 300nm, are spherical and form loosely agglomerated micro-clusters upto about 3µm. Aplications in paints, powder coatings, screen printing, protective coatings and printing inks.
