Tint-Ayd® ST 8454

Tint-Ayd® ST 8454 by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a free-flowing, stable, benzimidazolone pigment dispersion. It is free from hydroxyl, carboxyl and amine functional groups. It offers no bleed/discoloration to light fastness, and acid & alkali resistance. It can be formulated with thermoplastic acrylic coatings. It is compatible with cellulose acetate butyrate, chlorinated rubber, epoxy ester, vinyl and alkyd melamine. It is also compatible with two-component epoxy & urethane, acrylic, nitrocellulose, vinyl acrylic, polyester, alkyd urea, and long-oil-, styrenated-, medium-oil-, short-oil- and vinyl toluene alkyd coating systems. It is based on a mixture of PM acetate and aromatic 100. It is used in high-performance single or two-component solvent-based industrial coatings. Recommended for automotive OEM, concrete protection, general OEM, and maintenance-, marine- and protective coatings. The shelf life of Tint-Ayd® ST 8454 is 3 years.
