Chroma-chem® UCD® 8443Q by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is quinacridone violet pigment dispersion, based on 2-butoxyethanol and alkali-soluble acrylic resin. It provides excellent grind, high gloss and in-can stability. It shows no bleed acid/alkali pigment resistance but slight base & tinted lightfastness. It offers low VOC level, rheological characteristics and extraordinary stability to the colorant (resistance to flocculation, settling and syneresis). It is compatible with coating systems based on acrylic, acrylic/PVA emulsions, water reducible polyester/epoxy, water-soluble alkyd and urethane. Chroma-chem® UCD® 8443Q is used in alkaline water-based coatings including automotive interior OEM, industrial maintenance, marine, wood and protective coatings. It has a shelf-life of 3 years.
