Chroma-chem® UCD® 1530E

Chroma-chem® UCD® 1530E by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a jet carbon black pigment dispersion. It consists of a low-molecular-weight, automotive type, alkali-soluble acrylic resin dissolved in water that provides excellent pigment wetting. It provides excellent performance through the ease of incorporation and resistance to flooding/floating as well as flocculation.

• It exhibits improved water resistance, block resistance and excellent color control for in-plant tinting of architectural coatings.
• It makes possible high pigment concentrations at relatively low mill base solids levels.
• The tinting strength of the colorant is controlled to ±2% of the standard.
• It is compatible with acrylic/PVA emulsions, water-reducible polyester/epoxies, water-soluble alkyds and urethanes as well as with very low VOC and VOC coating systems.
• It offers light-fastness, acid- and alkali resistance.
• It has an alkaline pH and is suitable for use in both nonionic as well as anionic paint systems.
• It is used for water-based industrial coatings, arts and crafts, automotive OEM, aqueous wood coatings, concrete protection, general industrial finishes, general OEM, industrial maintenance, integrally colored concrete, marine and protective coatings.
• Chroma-chem® UCD® 1530E has a shelf life of 3 years.
