Chroma-chem® Spartacryl PM® 60663R by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a red-colored iron oxide pigment dispersion for solvent-based coatings. Its IR reflective technology works to maximize total solar reflectance with a focus in the IR region (780-2500nm). It shows lightfastness and is resistant to acid and alkali.
- It is designed specifically for use in high-performance, industrial coatings such as concrete protection, general industrial finishes, general OEM, industrial maintenance, joinery, marine and roof coatings.
- It contains propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate as the solvent.
- The dispersing resin in this is a non-functional acrylic polymer with a tightly controlled, low molecular weight.
- It provides reduced energy costs, increased roof life cycle by reducing thermal shock stress associated with large temperature changes and a reduced heat island effect in metal roof coatings.
- It is compatible with most coating systems based on acrylic, urethane, epoxy, polyester, alkyds of all oil lengths, nitrocellulose, vinyl and hybrid systems.
- It is also compatible with most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ethers, ketones and reactive diluents.
- Chroma-chem® Spartacryl PM® 60663R has a shelf life of 1 year.
