MAPICO™ Yellow 1050A

Ferric oxide hydrate. It is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a clean shade and good heat resistance that can be dispersed in coatings. It is used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost, add UV resistance to coating as well as ink formulations. Mapico® Yellow 1050A is color-stable in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). It is manufactured under strict QC and environmental controls for reliable as well as consistent quality, stable under exposure to sunlight, UV radiation and alkali, chemical as well as weather resistant. Used in powder coatings, can coatings, ink, concrete, stucco and plaster.
