ADINS® Protection S10

New viricide activity! - ADINS® Protection S10 by Tolsa is a high performance broad-spectrum biocide additive based in a needle-like special silicate with silver as active substance. It is a powerful biocide, active against bacteria, algae and fungi with new viricide performance. It allows control the release of metals and an optimal dispersion in the matrix in which it is incorporated. Due to its stability, this grade is used in polymer matrix for different applications. It allows to reduce the amount of active substance obtaining the same antimicrobial activity, increasing its durability and reducing its environmental impact. Moreover, it shows viricidal activity against enveloped viruses (Coronavirus such as SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19), Norovirus, Rotavirus and Adenovirus) when the activity is evaluated under the international standard. The recommended dosage level of ADINS® Protection S10 is 0.25-1% for water- and solvent-based coatings and paints.
