PowerStab™ 144 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), which protect against ultraviolet radiation. It is a bis(1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidinyl)-[[3,5-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxyphenyl]methyl]butylmalonate. It offers good solubility and good compatibility at high- and ambient temperature. It exhibits hindered phenol type of antioxidant moiety. It is highly effective in reducing coating defects like cracking and loss of gloss. It is available in white to slightly yellow colored powder form. PowerStab™ 144 is suitable for high temperature curing for powder-, coil- and automotive coating applications.
