DUARDINE™ GXL BIOCIDE

DUARDINE™ GXL BIOCIDE by Tianjin Surfychem is isothiazolone series of mixture. It is an active antiseptic or biocide. Can be effective in broad-spectrum as it kills variety of bacteria, fungi and yeast without releasing formaldehyde. Completely soluble in water, low molecular alcohols and ethylene glycol. It has a slight odor and is yellow in color. DUARDINE™ GXL BIOCIDE is used in the wet environment of most water-based product formulations. Applications include latex paint, printing inks and paper coating. Has a shelf life of two years at 20°C. It is added at any step of the production process. Normal usage concentration lies between 0.01% to 0.5%, depending on whether the product is susceptible to micro-biological corrosion and the storage conditions. Reducing agents, amines and other strong pro-nuclear materials result in the degradation of its active content. Temperature, pH value and redox potential should be appropriate to assure the stability of the product.
