CASAMID® 1416 by Thomas Swan acts as a gloss reducing curing agent and reactive matting agent. It is designed for use in interior coatings as well as black & dark shade epoxy- & hybrid powder coatings.
- It offers good flow and surface smoothness to the coatings.
- Epoxy coatings with gloss levels ranging from 5-15% and hybrid coatings with gloss levels ranging from 15-60% (or greater) can be easily formulated using CASAMID® 1416.
- The recommended dosage level is 8-12 phr.
- It has a shelf life of 12 months.
