Synsorb 384-2 by Synchemer acts as a UV-absorber. It is a blend of 95% benzenepropanoic acid, 3-(2H-benzotriazol-2yl)-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy-, C7-9-branched and linear alkyl esters and 5% 1-methoxy-2-propyl acetate. It can be used together with Synsorb-123, 292 and 1130. Synsorb 384-2 is used in automotive-, industrial-, wood- and plastic coatings.
