Diofan® Ultra736

Diofan® Ultra736 by Syensqo is a polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC). It provides superior water vapor and oxygen barrier properties. It enhances the performance of corrosion protection system.

• It offers excellent transparency, scratch & abrasion resistance and water resistance with good seal integrity.
• It shows excellent adhesion to a broad variety of metal substrates including DTM.
• It exhibits excellent thermoformability, enabling smaller pack sizes with higher pill density if compared with incumbent alternative coating solutions.
• It enables a reduction in the carbon footprint of pharmaceutical blister films.
• It allows the reduction of the coating thickness compared to incumbent mid to high barrier PVDC coatings, without impacting the functionality.
• Diofan® Ultra736 is used in anticorrosive coating formulations.
