Diofan® P 520 by Syensqo is a one-component, water-based dispersion of a polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC) copolymer. It shows low oxygen and water vapor permeabilities along with low water absorption. It is free of solvent traces, alkylphenol ethoxylates, or any other toxic substances. Provides excellent chemical resistance and flame-retardant properties. Offers low VOC, moisture and oxygen barrier. It is used in a broad variety of formulations that are specific to end-use requirements. Diofan® P 520 is suitable for corrosion-resistant & automotive primers, industrial-, heavy-duty steel protection-, underbody-, barrier-, sealing-, fiber-, and textile coatings. It has a shelf life of 8 months.
