Algoflon® L101-1

Algoflon® L101-1 by Syensqo is PTFE micro powder acting as an abrasion-resisting agent. It comprises of loose agglomerates of sub-micron-sized primary particles. Offers improved abrasion, scratch and rub resistance. Exhibits excellent chemical and heat resistance, low surface energy and low coefficient of friction. Possesses very high surface area, low molecular weight and good blendability. It is easily deagglomerated under shear. Algoflon® L101-1 is recommended for aircraft coatings (i.e. fuselage, wings), building and construction (metal curtain walls, siding, roofing, gutters, window, door trim, wood siding and decking), protective industrial and marine coatings, processing equipment, electrical and electronics, cookware and bakeware. Can also be used in lithographic, gravure and flexographic inks, toners, overprint varnishes, packaging coatings and aluminum can coatings. Complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.1550.
