Patinal® Chromium

Patinal® Chromium by Susonity is a granular evaporation material. It shows a reflection of about 60% in the visible spectrum. It forms environmentally durable layers and can be used to make first surface mirrors.
  • It can also be used in metal dielectric combinations to design neutral density filters and coatings with enhanced absorption (Cr-Black).
  • It has adhesion promoter on polymers and metal coatings.
  • Provides resistive coats and adhesive layers for gold, aluminium & copper in electronics.
  • Offers beam splitters, grey filters, scales & adhesion promoters for gold, aluminium and other metals on glass.
  • It is used in the automotive industry for corrosion protection, low friction layers (razor blades), and decorative layers.
  • Patinal® Chromium is suitable for optical and functional coatings.
