HEUCOPHOS® ZPA by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is an active multi-level anti-corrosive pigment with improved pigment structure, particle size distribution and dispersibility. It is based on zinc aluminum orthophosphate hydrate.
- It possesses increased water-soluble amount resulting in a better supply of inhibitive ions over a long time.
- It exhibits a higher performance efficiency in comparison to conventional zinc phosphates.
- HEUCOPHOS® ZPA is recommended for coil coatings, direct to metal (DTM) coatings, powder coatings and UV cured systems.
- It is suitable for solvent-based coatings based on long-, short- & medium oil alkyds, high solids alkyds (with low or no VOC), high solids- & 2K epoxies, epoxy esters, silicone resins as well as 2K-, high solids- and moisture-cured polyurethanes.
- It is also used in water-based coatings based on alkyd emulsions, 2K epoxies, 2K polyurethanes, silicone resins as well as acrylic & modified acrylics, and butadiens (with low or no VOC).
