Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S

Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is an opaque monoazo-based organic pigment (Pigment Yellow 74, CI 11741). It is coloristically very close to the well-known Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70. It exhibits good light- and weather fastness properties.

• It shows excellent acid-, alkali- and water resistance.
• It offers good overpainting fastness in nitrocellulose (NC) combination lacquer.
• The improved recrystallization stability helps to overcome the well-known processing problems associated with this pigment class.
• It produces color-stable dispersions that are consistent in tinctorial strength.
• Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70-S is recommended for pigment preparations, decorative alkyd paints and air-drying industrial paints.
• It is also used in air-drying alkyds, physically drying paints, acid cured paints and water-based paints.
