STEPCOTE® W-805 by Stepan Company is a VOC- & APE-free, effective wetting agent for use in waterborne coatings. It moderately enhances low foaming, wet scrub resistance and washability. It significantly improves gloss and hiding while enhancing freeze thaw stability. STEPCOTE® W-805 also improves color acceptance and temperature stability. This additive can be incorporated during the letdown phase of production or post added to the final formulation. The typical usage level is 2-6 lbs/100 gallons based on active content. Recommended for industrial coatings.
