STEPCOTE® W-722 by Stepan Company is a VOC- & APE-free, effective wetting agent for water-based coatings. It significantly improves freeze thaw stability. It moderately enhances gloss, low foaming, color acceptance as well as wet scrub resistance, washability and hiding properties. STEPCOTE® W-722 imparts temperature stability. This additive can be incorporated during the letdown phase of production or post added to the final formulation. The typical usage level is 2-6 lbs/100 gallons based on active content. It is designed for industrial coatings.
