Silsurf® B608 by Siltech is a self-emulsifying compatibilizer, flow and leveling agent with good slip. It is low to non-foaming silicone glycol copolymer having INCI name of PEG-8 Dimethicone. It can also be used as an oil-in-water emulsifier. Compatible with acrylic, alkyd, polyurethane, polyester and epoxy resins. Suggested for use in solvent-borne and UV cured coating systems. Provides wetting, penetration, release and soft feel as well as mar, stain and abrasion resistance. It is recommended at a dosage level of 0.05-2.0 %wt and has a shelf life of 36 months at 10-40°C.
