VINYBLAN® 690 by Shin-Etsu is a flexible vinyl chloride-acrylic copolymer emulsion having high solid content. Possesses heat sublimating printing absorbing layer. Exhibits good machine stability, low temperature stability and good heat resistance at 150-200°C. It is an anionic resin with good transparency and self extinguishing properties. Offers superior adhesion to the substrate and colorant dispersion in the absorbing layer. Recommended for industrial ink-jet printing, gravure inks & spray, foaming, dipping and knife coating. It can be diluted by water and can be mixed with various anionic emulsions. When mixed with alcohol such as methanol or IPA, it can cause gelation. It adds excellent chromogenic properties to paint & ink formulas and coated surfaces. Complies with REACH 1907/2006 and 2001/58/EC. VINYBLAN® 690 has a shelf life of 6 months at 5°C-30°C.
