Hydroxyethyl cellulose. Provides effects like thickening, pseudoplastic properties, water retention, protective colloid effects, film forming and a high level of salt tolerance. Offers high gloss, pigment compatibility, and high water retention. Exhibits moderate thickening effect, wet scrub resistance, anti-spattering, and pseudoplasticity. Used for paints and coatings applications like interior paints, solid paints, exterior paints, tinters, glazes, silicon resin paints, and gloss effect top coats.
