Vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer. It exhibits low viscosity and resistant to alcohol & chemicals (acids, alkalis and brine). Possesses toughness and plasticity. Contains other polar groups that enhance adhesiveness and solubility. It is highly soluble and lacks odor & taste. Forms strong, water resistant, odorless, tasteless and transparent coating films which are fire-retardant and self-extinguishing. Highly compatible with urethane and melamine resins. Suitable for coatings on polyolefin films. Used in transparent epoxy and urethane coatings. Applications include rotogravure and silk-screen inks. Complies with FDA (§ 175.300 and § 175.320).
