Arctic® Yellow 10C242 by Shepherd Color is a non-warping, non-bleeding and non-migratory inorganic pigment. It is produced by high temperature calcination. It is designed for applications requiring heat-, light- and weather-resistance. It is chemically inert, heat resistant and stable to ultraviolet light.
  • It possesses good UV- and visible opacity, exceptional durability and hiding power.
  • Arctic® Yellow 10C242 is compatible with most resin systems and polymers.
  • It exhibits high tint strength and high total solar reflectance.
  • Offers excellent weathering performance and chemical-, heat- and light resistance.
  • It is recommended for liquid- and powder coatings, inks, dispersions and other applications where equivalent pigment chemistry is used.
  • It is used in high temperature-, coil-, silicate-, masonry- and extrusion coatings.
  • It is also suitable for ceramic and glass enamels, building & construction, automotive, industrial (solvent and water-borne) and cool architectural applications.
  • It complies with FDA, AP(89)1, JHOSPA, FPL Brown 24, GB9685, AS2070-1999, BfR, CONEG, EN71.3, Packaging - 94/62/EC, RoHS, ELV, WEEE and TCLP requirements.
