Arctic® Black 10G996 by Shepherd Color is an IR reflective jet black, inorganic pigment. It has low soluble iron for stability in PVC based materials. It is highly resistant to acid, base, UV and chemical attack.
  • It is optimized for a deep masstone, good tint strength, high TSR (Total Solar Reflectance) and low HBU (Heat Build-up) to meet performance and regulatory requirements.
  • It is suitable for siding, extrusions, building panels, roofing and fibers.
  • It is compatible with a wide range of plastics, polymers paints and coatings.
  • Arctic® Black 10G996 is recommended for silicate coatings, plaster, porcelain and glass enamel applications.
  • It complies with AP (89) 1, AS2070-1999, BfR, CONEG, packaging - 94/62/EC, GB9685, RoHS, ELV and WEEE requirements.
