Sanitized® BDC

Sanitized® BDC by Sanitized is a fast-acting in-can preservative designed for protecting aqueous systems such as polymer dispersions and architectural paints. It is used as water disinfection for paint manufacturing. It is a unique combination of three active ingredients, DBNPA (2.2-dibrom-2-cyanacetamide), 2-bromo-2-nitro-1.3-propanediol, and chlormethylisothiazolinone/ methylisothiazolinone (CMIT/MIT).

• It offers optimal efficacy, long-term stability including excellent color stability and product stability, and minimal environmental impact.
• It is effective at low concentrations and can reduce manufacturing run times, simplify processes, & increase product safety.
• It is process-, shear-, and heat-stable under normal manufacturing conditions and has no skin sensitization (H317).
• It is ideal for dosing in all processing steps, which enables a microbe-free production.
• It is ideal alternative for zinc pyrithione or a pure CMIT/MIT based product.
• Sanitized® BDC effectively and durably inhibits the growth of bacteria, yeasts, and fungi at an active ingredient concentration of 0.10%.
