Sanitized® BC A 21-03

Sanitized® BC A 21-03 by Sanitized is an antimicrobial additive based on a natural active ingredient in form of silver encapsulated in a patented glass ceramic material. The pure active ingredient has a strong effect against many bacteria. It shows wash- and high temperature resistance. This small particle size grade is especially suitable for coatings for appliances and equipment such as conveyer belts, countertops, furniture and protective covers. Substrates protected with Sanitized® BC A 21-03 are noted for their excellent skin tolerance and are safe for man and environment. It is EPA-registered, BPR-compliant and accepted for OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, classes I-IV. Approved for polymers with food contact (US FDA & EFSA). Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.6% to the total weight of the material to be protected.
