Wood rosin. It has been partially hydrogenated via a catalytic process. Provides improved gloss, clarity and added adhesion. Possesses high resistance to oxidation and discoloration, and to changes in solubility characteristics, when it is exposed to air and heat. It is greatly superior to ordinary non-hydrogenated rosins. Shows wide solubility and compatibility. Used as wax modifier in paper coatings.
