Terasperse® 2644

It acts as a dispersing agent. It is developed as a highly versatile and efficient low-foaming acrylic dispersant. Provides a stable, uniform grind at a minimum mill base viscosity without the use of additional wetting agents or dispersants. It is compatible with ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and can be used in water-free, glycol-based grinds. Demonstrates excellent gloss retention, both before and after heat aging, with both acrylics and vinyl-acrylics. Compatible with reactive pigments such as zinc oxide and can be used as the sole dispersant. Such systems demonstrate excellent stability in terms of viscosity and grind. It is normally used at relatively low levels, foaming is minimized, secondary dispersants are not required and water resistance of the dry film is not affected. Recommended applications include pigments.
