TERASIL® 1NS

TERASIL® 1NS by Pflaumer Brothers is a single-component modified hydrogel silane developed for moisture-cure coatings. It forms a penetrating, chemically bonded network within the substrate, creating a durable, integrated foundation that resists delamination, blistering, and premature coating failure. Coatings based on it can be clear or pigmented and can be used with conventional urethane-grade solvents such as PCBTF, t-Butyl Acetate, PM Acetate, and TERAFLEX® DME-200. Offers long-term UV stability, excellent adhesion, high gloss, good resistance to yellowing and fast cure properties at various humidity levels.

• Seal coats based on TERASIL® 1NS can provide excellent penetration of the concrete substrate and contribute to resisting the passage of moisture.
• Provides fast recoatability, excellent weathering-, chemical-, abrasion resistance, and relatively low film thickness economics of product.
• It is suitable for polycarbonate, unsaturated polyester gel coats, glass, steel, wood, plastics, concrete, and composite substrates when effective surface preparation is made.
• Possesses deep penetration and resistance to moisture transmission, helping extend coating life and reduce costly failures in real-world conditions.
• It shows great efficiency, improved film build with fewer passes, reduced material usage and broad solvent compatibility.
• Used in concrete sealers and grind-and-seal flooring systems, wood- (cabinetry, furniture, architectural finishes), industrial and protective metal coatings.
• It is also used in interior-, exterior, plastics, glass, marine and exterior environments.
• TERASIL® 1NS has a shelf life of 12 months.
