Teraflow® 5306

Polyether modified dimethyl polysiloxane copolymer. It acts as a flow & leveling agent, mar resistance, slip control, wetting agent, scratch and abrasion resistance agent. Provides gloss and surface smoothness. As with any dimethyl polysiloxane additive, its potential adverse effect is evaluated on intercoat adhesion and recoatability for films subjected to high temperatures. It is very effective in alkyd, polyester melamines, self-crosslinking & hydroxyl acrylics, nitrocellulose, polyurethanes and other systems. In addition to imparting surface smoothness and slip, also promotes wetting. Recommended for use at a level ranging from 0.1% to 1% based on total formulation weight.
