Terachem® 60-7006

Terachem® 60-7006 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a moisture scavenger for formulations of polyurethane and polyaspartic coatings systems. It is a 50% dispersion of molecular sieve in polyether polyol. The molecular sieve is a zeolite A type (potassium calcium sodium aluminosilicate with a pore opening of 3Å) that is compatible in 1K and 2K urethanes with commonly used isocyanates.

• It has a high absorption capacity and is efficient even at very low moisture levels.
• The formulated synthetic crystalline metal aluminosilicates provide a high surface area with uniform pore diameters, and water is absorbed preferentially to other compounds in the coating formulation.
• Terachem® 60-7006 minimizes problems such as viscosity instability, gassing and gelation.
• It is low toxic, efficient and effective liquid dispersion that is easier to use with mild odor.
• In general, recommended dosage level is about 10-30 times the measured water content of the formulation ingredients.
• It has shelf life of 12 months.
