Tallicin® KO by Pflaumer Brothers acts as an emulsifier, dispersing and wetting agent. It is designed to disperse hydrophobic pigments into a low-viscosity paste for incorporation into either oil or water-based systems, both water-reducible and latex. It is compatible with a wide variety of pigments and solvent-based vehicles.
  • When used in a water-based system in conjunction with relatively hydrophilic surfactants, it imparts good color acceptance and development with high oil-absorbing pigments.
  • It can be used to emulsify linseed oil in water.
  • Recommended dosage is 2% by weight of pigment.
