Tallicin® 1500

Tallicin® 1500 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a flow and levelling agent. It is silicone-free and fugitive from the film. It improves sharpness of gloss, eliminate bubbling, cratering and pinholes without adverse effect on other formulation’s properties such as chemical and water resistance.

• It contributes to inter-coat adhesion and eliminates surface defects, particularly in high solids applications.
• It exhibits extremely high solvency and a very low evaporation rate.
• It has demonstrated wide compatibility with most vehicles and coatings systems.
• It reduces the viscosity of alkyd formulations and improve the flow characteristics of nitrocellulose lacquers and of both two-component and oil-modified urethane systems.
• It offers good brushability.
• Tallicin® 1500 is applicable for lacquers, spray systems, baking finishes, gloss paints, coatings and varnishes.
• Recommended dosage level is 2-3%, based on total weight to provide good flow, leveling, wet edge and open time.
