Rid-O-Foam® A-4

It acts as a defoamer. And is 100% active designed to provide fast-acting and long-lasting foam control in a wide variety of water-based systems as well as in wide range of temperature and ph. Normally used at a level ranging between 0.4 & 5 pounds per hundred gallons of latex paint and incorporated at a level, starting at 0.01% based on total weight, during the polymerization reaction or during the stripping process. Foam control in a resin emulsion system is achieved at a level ranging between 0.01% to 1.0% based on total volume. It has demonstrated compatibility with acrylic, vinyl-acrylic, polyvinyl acetate, and styrene-butadiene binders. It does not affect color acceptance or development. It is ccompatible in a wide variety of latex system and is effective in high gloss systems. Mainly applicable in paint stripping.
