Alcogum® SL 920

Alcogum® SL 920 by Nouryon acts as a rheology modifier. It is hydrophobically modified, alkali swellable emulsion (HASE) polymers. It is compatible with anionic and non-ionic surfactants. These associative thickeners provide much better control over a wider range of shear rates compared to more traditional synthetic polymers. Exhibits synergistic interaction with non-ionic surfactants. Offers clear solutions and gels. Can be added as the last ingredient prior to neutralization. Its dilution with water can facilitate incorporation in viscous and/or alkaline formulations. Prevent settling in the paint can, improve sag resistance after the paint is applied, and increase color acceptance. Applicable for paints. Alcogum® SL 920 is listed with TSCA confidential inventory.
