Alcogum® L 29 by Nouryon is ASE rheology modifier and emulsifier. It is acrylate-based emulsion copolymer. Possesses newtonian flow, water retention and shear tolerance characteristics. Exhibits effective viscosity build in high solids systems. Can be added as the last ingredient prior to neutralization. Its dilution with water can facilitate incorporation in viscous and/or alkaline formulations. Alcogum® L 29 is supplied at 30% active solids in water. Applicable for latex coatings, paper and paperboard coatings.
