EPOCROS™ K-2010E by Nippon Shokubai acts as an adhesion promoter and a waterborne crosslinking agent. It is a soft, VOC-free, styrene/acrylic-based oxazoline functionalized reactive copolymer. It offers film properties, low toxicity, fast drying and improved water- & heat resistance. It shows excellent adhesion particularly to polyester such as PET and a controllable appearance by glass transition temperature adjustment. It also offers crosslinking reaction at low temperature (80-120°C) and without any by-product. It exhibits high reactivity with carboxyl groups and performance expression with even small addition. EPOCROS™ K-2010E is used in coatings (metals, films, paper, plastics, leather), primer (film, plastics, building materials, automobiles, PVB inks), paints, inks and pigment printing. It is registered with Japan, TSCA (USA), REACH EU (EEA) and pre-registered with KECL (Korea) regulations. It has a long pot life for one packaging.
