CoatOSil™ Prim-2 Emulsion

CoatOSil™ Prim-2 Emulsion by Momentive Performance Materials is a lower-VOC aqueous emulsion based on silane/siloxane technology. It has excellent hydrophobic properties and can be used for a variety of masonry applications.

• It provides enhanced hydrophobicity after UV exposure and improves efflorescence resistance without changing color or appearance.
• It has excellent depth of penetration as a surface treatment.
• Recommended reduction is 1 part CoatOSIL™ PRIM 2 to 9 parts water.
• It reduces capillary water absorption and provides excellent water beading effect.
• CoatOSil™ Prim-2 Emulsion has lower cyclic content, freeze-thaw stability and high efficiency at low dosage.
