Baysilone PC3 by Momentive Performance Materials is polydimethyl siloxanes bearing vinyl groups with polydimethylsiloxanes bearing SiH (addition systems). Acts as a catalyst. Suitable for paper and film coating. Its reactivity may considerably be impaired by catalyst toxins coming from the substrate mostly heavy metal compounds. Baysilone PC3 produces a pore-free and uniformly thin silicone film.
