Benetex® OB Plus by Mayzo is 2,5-Thiophenediylbis(5-tert-butyl-1,3-benzoxazole). Acts as an optical brightener, fluorescent whitening agent. It is heat resistant, solvent soluble, chemically stable in a fine powder form that is easier to dissolve and/or disperse as compared to conventional product forms of larger particle size. Exhibits good light fastness and low volatility. It is suitable for screen printing applications where reduced clogging of equipment is critical to increase productivity, in coatings where efficiency of dispersion and a smooth coating appearance are required. It is also suitable for printing inks. Its recommended dosage is 50-1000 ppm. Benetex® OB Plus has a shelf life of 2 years.
