HEXAFOR™ 644-D by Maflon is a polymeric non-ionic fluorosurfactant for water-based and solvent-based systems. It reduces surface and interface tension. It improves wetting and leveling, reduces cratering, fish eyes, and orange peel effects. It is based on short-chain fluorinated monomers containing 6 perfluorinated carbon atoms, that cannot breakdown to PFOA in the environment. It shows high thermal stability and high flash point. HEXAFOR™ 644-D is used in paints and coatings.
