HEXAFOR™ 636 by Maflon is a VOC-free, polymeric non-ionic fluorosurfactant for solvent based systems. It reduces surface tension, cratering, fish eyes and orange peel effects. It improves wetting and leveling properties. It is based on short-chain fluorinated monomers containing 6 perfluorinated carbon atoms, that cannot breakdown to PFOA in the environment. It exhibits low viscosity, high thermal stability and excellent solubility in hydroxyl acrylic resins. HEXAFOR™ 636 is suitable for automotive coatings. The shelf life of the grade is 2 years.
