MULTIMOD™ APT-44

MULTIMOD™ APT-44 by Macroocean is a linear polyester based, adhesion promoter. It can improve the adhesion to substrates or coatings of different paint & ink systems. This grade offers flexibility & hardness and improved intercoat adhesion. Also, improves corrosion protection and adhesion to aluminum, steel and plastics. It possesses adjustable viscosity and solids content. It can be dissolved in ketone, ether or esters type of solvents, which is usually dissolved with aromatic solvents, such as 100# & 150#. And, it can be dissolved in UV monomers, such as HDDA and TPGDA. It can be used in solvent-based, solvent-free and UV curing systems. MULTIMOD™ APT-44 is used in can-, industrial metal- & architectural coating and printing ink applications. The recommended addition level for the applications: solid calculated on binder solid: 3-15%. The shelf life of this product is 24 months.
