Solthix™ T23500 by Lubrizol is a powdered synthetic thickener based on polyacrylic acid. It is recommended for aqueous systems. It offers easy wetting behavior and flexibility in formulation for different end-use. It is an un-neutralized grade, and requires addition of ammonium hydroxide (or other appropriate neutralizing agents) to achieve maximum thickening efficiency. It shows high viscosity and high yield stress. It can be used for suspending pigments or other particles in an aqueous system. It offers easy dispersion, good suspension properties and shear-thinning. Solthix™ T23500 is designed for use in paints & coatings and printing & packaging.
