Solthix™ T21600 by Lubrizol is a powdered synthetic thickener based on polyacrylic acid. It is recommended for aqueous systems. Solthix™ T21600 is designed for use in paints & coatings and printing & packaging. It is an un-neutralized grade, and requires addition of ammonium hydroxide (or other appropriate neutralizing agents) to achieve maximum thickening efficiency. It offers ease of preparation, good suspension properties and shear-thinning.
